7th Graduation Day of RRMCH

It’s glad to announce that the 7th Graduation Day of RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital organized on 25th April 2017, Tuesday at 10:00 AM is a Grand Scuccess.

UG, PG and also Super Speciality graduates were awarded their graduation degrees on this eventful day. The occassion was graced by :

1. The Hon’ble Chief Guest:- Dr SharanPrakash Rudrappa Patil, Minister for Medical Education, Govt. of Karnataka.

2. Hon’ble Guest of Honor:- Sri Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Former Captain, Indian Cricket Team.


Evening Cultural programs was held. The guest was Kannada Cine Actress Ms. Shruthi Hariharan.

7th Graduation day of RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital was held on 25th April, 2017 at ACS Convention Hall.

107 Under Graduates, 75 Post Graduates and 3 Super Specialty graduates were honored with their graduation certificates on this day.

In his speech as the Chief Guest, the Hon’ble Minister of Medical Education, Govt of Karnataka, Dr. Sharanprakash Rudrappa Patil called on the young graduates to serve at least for some time in the rural areas. Stressing the need to look beyond the urban areas, he asked the doctors to be more service oriented. Praising the management for the best of the infrastructure and the facilities provided in the college, he applauded the efforts by the faculties and the students for their astounding achievements. Congratulating the students, he asked them not to have the motive to earn money alone but render the services to the poor at least/minimal cost and gain more clinical knowledge before embarking on a professional journey. He said that this profession is highly respected than any other profession and is not a cakewalk, may have to face lot of obstacles, thus one has to be more committed to the profession.

The Guest of honor Mr. Krishnamachari Srikkanth, Former Captain, Indian Cricket Team while addressing the crowd claimed that all achievers are not from a well to be background or from the developed cities, so to achieve anything you just need to work hard and have patience.

This year also RajaRajeswari medical College and Hospital has managed an exceptional accomplishment where there are more than 10 students who have bagged top ranks in the University examinations both in UG and PG. 

Sri. A.C. Shanmugam, Chairman RajaRajeswari Group Of Institutions presided over the function. Padmasri Prof. R.M. Vasagam, Medical Director Dr. Ramachandra, Dean Dr.H V Shetty, Medical Superintendent Dr. Govindaraju, Principal Dr. Naveen were also present. The students along with their parents and relatives came in great numbers and enthusiasm.

The chairman called upon the graduates to have service orientation and work towards improving the health care fabric of India by providing health care services to under privileged. The Chairman also shared his vision for the institution that is to make RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital, a one stop health care destination. He said that our hospital is already serving in villages/ semi rural areas by giving treatment to the poor at very minimal charges including dialysis and all other treatments.

The area was brimming with anticipation and happiness. The college wore a festive look.

Dr. Sangeetha Balaji secured the gold medal.

Dr. Akshita Ramani stood the topper.
