Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital (RRMCH) successfully organized a comprehensive ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) training program on 23rd and 24th March 2026 at the Skill Lab.
The program was conducted by the Department of Emergency Medicine, RRMCH, in collaboration with the Quality Cell, and in association with EIIEMS, Kottayam.
The event was inaugurated by Dr. Sathyamurthy B (Dean), Dr. Praveen Kumar (Medical Superintendent), Dr. Ambareesha M (Head, Department of Emergency Medicine), and Dr. Sahajananda H (NABH Coordinator). Mementos were presented to the instructors in recognition of their valuable contributions.
The training witnessed enthusiastic participation from postgraduate students and healthcare professionals, highlighting a strong commitment to enhancing lifesaving skills.
• Hands-on Training Aligned with Global Standards
• Sessions were led by AHA-certified instructors, who delivered a blend of interactive lectures and hands-on skill training based on the latest American Heart Association (AHA) 2025 guidelines. Participants were trained in advanced resuscitation techniques and emergency response protocols.
• Each participant underwent both theoretical and practical assessments, and successful candidates received certificates issued online.
Strengthening Emergency Preparedness
This program marks an important step in strengthening clinical competence, emergency preparedness, and resuscitation skills among healthcare professionals, in alignment with international standards of patient care.
