The Department of Emergency Medicine and the Quality Cell at Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital (RRMCH) successfully conducted a comprehensive ACLS, BLS & PALS Training Workshop from 11th to 15th November 2025, in collaboration with IIEMS, Kottayam.

Training Overview
Participants received in-depth, hands-on training based on the latest American Heart Association (AHA) protocols for:
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Each session concluded with both theory and practical examinations. Participants who successfully completed the assessments were awarded online AHA-certified completion certificates.
Participation & Impact
The workshop saw enthusiastic participation from postgraduate students and hospital staff, reflecting their commitment to advancing life-saving skills. This program is a significant step in strengthening emergency response capabilities at RRMCH and aligns with the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India’s focus on improving training in emergency care and resuscitation.
