Basic Life Support

The team was headed by Dr. Sahajanand & Dr. Rajalakshmi
The members were : Dr.Madhu, Dr.Soumya M.J.,Dr.Khasim, Dr.Sumaiyya, Dr.Praveen, Dr.Sandhya.

The Program commenced with a warm welcoming speech and the purpose of the program was creating awareness of Basic life Support.

As all of us know Basic Life Support is defined as series of life saving actions that improve the chance of survival following cardiac arrest. Each one of us will surely come across situations like cardiac arrest where it requires timely intervention for better chance of survival of the victims, in such situation, everyone of us including layperson should be able to Basic Life Support.

Dr Sahajanand-Prof & HOD, Dept Of Anesthesia, speaking on the occasion emphasized the need to reinforce our knowledge and spread the same to others so that one can save as many as possible with timely intervention.

Post Graduates of the Department Dr Kassim & Dr Sumaiyya demonstrated the Basic Life Support and gave few guidelines as well.
