The Department of Community Medicine, RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital, Bangalore has organized a CME on “Grant Writing” on Wednesday, 29th June 2022 for the faculty and students of various medical, dental, nursing and allied health professionals between 8.30 am and 5:00 pm

The CME will provide guidance on:
1. Standard components of a grand proposal and common mistakes in writing a grand proposal.
2. Understanding the priorities of the funding organizations.
3. Writing effective grant research application.
A Continuing Medical Education on “Grant Writing” was organized by Department of Community Medicine on 29th June 2022 at Kadamba Hall FROM 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM. The CME was accredited with Karnataka Medical Council and carried 2 credit hours. The programme was graced by the presence of Dr Sathyamurthy, Dean, Dr.Naveen S, Principal, Dr Praveen Kumar, Medical Superintendent, Dr Basavaraj Bandare, Vice Principal (Academics), Dr Praveen G U, Vice Principal (Admin) of Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital.
The programme was started by invoking the blessings of almighty followed by lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries.
The welcome speech was given by Dr.Shashikala Manjunatha
The eminent speakers Dr Pradeep B, Prof & HOD, Dr. Gautham M. S., Additional Professor, Dr Aravind B A, Additional Prof Centre for Public Health from NIMHANS gave an elaborative talk on Basics of Grant Writing, Framing objectives, Ethics, Plagiarism, Budgeting in grant proposal
Around 80 participants attended the CME. The programme came to a conclusion with Vote of thanks and High tea.
