Continuing Medical Education with theme “Pathogen Pursuit – Triad of IPC, AMSP & ID

The Department of Microbiology, Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital, successfully conducted a Continuing Medical Education with theme “Pathogen Pursuit – Triad of IPC, AMSP & ID” on 14/05/2026 from 08:00 am to 5.00 pm at Kadamba Hall (College Auditorium)

The CME was conceptualized to address the escalating challenge of antimicrobial resistance through an integrated approach. It focused on the synergistic roles of Infection Prevention & Control, Antimicrobial Stewardship, and Infectious Diseases in optimizing patient care. The objective was to bridge the gap between laboratory diagnostics and clinical practice, promoting rational antimicrobial use and strengthening patient safety protocols.

The CME was inaugurated by Dean, Medical superintendent, Principal, CEO,Dean of PG studies and HOD.
