As part of Electives Block 1, the Department of Physiology organized a Cooking Without Fire competition on 15 December 2025 under the elective Clinical Nutrition in Health and Disease. The event aimed to strengthen students’ practical understanding of nutrition, healthy eating habits, and food safety.
Students participated enthusiastically and presented a variety of innovative, nutritious, and creatively prepared dishes without the use of fire. The competition highlighted the importance of a balanced diet, hygiene, creativity, and effective food presentation.
Dishes were evaluated based on nutritional value, innovation, hygiene, and overall appeal. The activity successfully connected theoretical concepts with practical application and encouraged awareness of healthy lifestyle practices.
The event concluded with prize distribution and active student participation, making it an engaging and educational experience for all.
