CPC on Sudden Death in Young
A Clinico Pathological Conference was held in RRMCH college auditorium on 18/12/12 at 2.15 PM. Department of Pathology and Forensic Medicine, RRMCH organized this event which shed light on the topic: “Sudden Death in a young man “. The subject chosen for the conference is of great importance as the percentage of ‘Sudden death in young people’ has increased worldwide. Doctors and Medical researchers all over the world have started to give more importance to the phenomenon of sudden death as it causes death for almost 250,000 to 450,000 people in United States of America, every year. The reason of most ‘sudden-deaths’ happens to be cardiac arrest due to hidden heart defects or heart abnormalities. The participants exchanged valuable updates and information on the chosen subject including how to face the issue, from a medical perspective.
