Dussehra Celebration at RRMCH
RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital (RRMCH), Bengaluru, celebrated the auspicious festival of Dussehra with great devotion, enthusiasm, and traditional fervour. The celebration reflected the victory of good over evil and highlighted the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of India.
The festivities were marked by the traditional Bombe Habba (Golu Doll Display), a beautiful representation of Karnataka’s cultural traditions. The arrangement of dolls depicting mythological characters, deities, and scenes from Indian epics added a festive charm to the occasion, symbolising devotion, creativity, and the preservation of age-old customs.
The celebration also included Devi Puja, offering prayers to Goddess Durga and seeking her divine blessings for prosperity, wisdom, strength, and the well-being of all. The atmosphere was filled with devotion and positivity as faculty members, staff, and students came together to participate in the festivities and celebrate the spirit of Navaratri and Dussehra.
The occasion provided an opportunity for the RRMCH fraternity to embrace traditional values, foster unity, and celebrate the timeless significance of faith, righteousness, and compassion. It also served as a reminder that dedication, perseverance, and the triumph of good over evil are values that resonate deeply with the noble profession of healthcare.
The Dussehra celebration at RRMCH concluded on an auspicious and joyful note, spreading happiness, harmony, and positive energy throughout the institution while keeping India’s cherished cultural traditions alive.
