Inaugural function of Medical Genetics Department


On 20.11.2018 department of pediatrics Inaugurated Medical genetics Centre and conducted CME.


The proceeding was started with traditional lamp lighting ceremony followed by enlightening scientific talks.

The chief guests for the day Dr. Preetha, professor of department of genetics delivered a talk on Importance of genetic counselings. The other chief guest was Dr. Angel Beula too delivered informative talk on the aspects of genetics followed by Dr. Prabhakar, Senior Scientist of Rajarajeshwari Medical College and Hospital, updated on research techniques available in our hospital.

Under the guidance of Dr. Adarsh E, Prof and HOD, Department of Pediatrics and Dr. Prathiba, Associate Professor the 1st Step towards the department of genetics was laid.
