Inauguration of COVID – 19 Vaccine Drive

Inauguration of “COVID – 19 Vaccine Drive” at RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital, Bengaluru RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital with District Health and Family Welfare Department, Bangalore has organized a “COVID-19 Vaccine Drive” at RRMC Hospital on 18th Jan 2021, Monday. The Chief Guest for this program was Shri S. T. Somashekar Gowda, Minister of Co-operation, Government of Karnataka, who also inaugurated the initialization of the Vaccine. The Chief Guest addressing the medical professionals appreciated their work and highlighted the initiatives taken by both Central and State governments for vaccination. He reiterated the commitment of the Governments to ensure that the fight against the COVID vaccine is complete and successful. The Chief Guest was given a warm welcome and was felicitated by Dr.Naveen, Principal, RRMCH. The members present were Mr. Shivanna, Assisatnt Commissioner, Bangalore South, Dr. Satya Murthy – Dean, RRMCH, Dr. Praveen-Medical Superintendent, Mr. Prasanna, Estate Officer and many more voluntaries and staff. Our Respected Dean was the first beneficiary from our institute who got the vaccination and the second was our front line Health worker from department of House Keeping followed by many voluntaries. Total 100 beneficiaries were initialized from our hospital and already 50 to 60 beneficiaries are administered with the vaccine. Those who are vaccinated are all doing well without any side effects and still more are to go on with the vaccination.
