View Brochure About the Programme: With the unconditional support and the encouragement from the Honorable chairman Dr. A.C.Shanmugam and Vice chairman Mr. A.C.S Arun kumar a CME ‘Role of Forensic Medicine In Medical practice was organized on 18th December 2018 by the Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, RRMCH, Kambipura, Bengaluru at 4th floor Smart Class within the college campus. The inaugural function was held at 9:30AM and the guest lectures were started at 10:30AM. The inaugural function was presided by Dr. D.L Ramachandra, Medical director, RRMCH. Dr. Usha Ramachandra, Director PG Studies RRMCH, Dr. Jayaprakash Professor and Head Department of Forensic Medicine RRMCH, Dr. Jagadheesh, Assistant Professor of Forensic Medicine, RRMCH; the three guest speakers Dr. Jagannath S.R HOD and Professor Forensic Medicine KIMS, Bengaluru; Dr. Nisar Ahmed Professor, Professor Forensic Medicine RRMCH, Bengaluru; Dr. Naveen Professor Forensic Medicine KIMS, Bengaluru were the dignitaries on the dias. Dr. Meena Kiran was the compere for the entire CME. Dr. Jaya Prakash.G welcomed the gathering. Dr. Punitha.R Assistant Professor introduced the three guest speakers to the gathering. A warm felicitation was done to all the guest speakers after their respective talks. The medico legal session was quite successful with nearly 200 students and 90 faculties from various other departments & other colleges actively participating throughout the CME and the panel discussion. The conduction of the entire event was highly appreciated by the assembled RRMCH students, faculties and the Forensic Faculty of other medical colleges of Bengaluru. The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Indira.L.Asangi.
