National Pulse Polio Program

Sunday, On the occasion of National Pulse Polio Programme day – 27/02/2022, immunization booth was established in the premises of Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital in association with the Government of Karnataka and PHC – Kumbalgodu and IAP-BPS Bengaluru. All the children irrespective of vaccination status between the ages of 0 and 5 years were the targeted population. The drive was conducted between 8 am and 5 pm. A total of 26 children were successfully administered oral polio vaccine among which 14 were girls and 12 were boys. The Pediatric Department, Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital, took active part in the program to make it a successful event, under the guidance of Dr. Adarsh. E, Professor & HOD, Department of Pediatrics.
