National Voters Day 2023

In order to encourage more young voters to take part in the political process, Government of India has decided to celebrate January 25 every year as “National Voters’ Day”. It has been started from 25 January 2011 to mark the foundation day of Election Commission of India. The new voters would be provided with a badge with its logo “Proud to be a voter – Ready to vote”. RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital also took the responsible initiative to build the awareness among the youngsters and encourage them to enroll in the electoral rolls.
