Republic Day Celebration – 2025

Republic Day Celebration at RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital On January 26, 2025, India marked its 76th Republic Day, commemorating the day when the Indian Constitution came into effect in 1950, making India a sovereign republic. This momentous occasion was celebrated with great enthusiasm at RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital.The event commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the Indian flag, a symbol of the country’s unity and pride. With all due respect, the national flag was raised, and everyone present stood in attention, reflecting the deep sense of patriotism.To add to the festive spirit, sweets were distributed among the attendees, fostering a sense of community and joy on this special day. The celebration at RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital was a reminder of the significance of Republic Day, and how it unites people in a shared commitment to the ideals of justice, equality, and liberty that the Indian Constitution upholds.

Dr. A.C. Shanmugam Honored with Prestigious Doctorate by Mysore University

Renowned educationist and healthcare provider, Dr. A.C. Shanmugam, was conferred with an honorary doctorate by Mysore University in recognition of his exceptional contributions to education and medical services. The prestigious award was presented during the 105th Graduation ceremony at the university on 18th January, 2025.
A proud law graduate of Bangalore University, Dr. Shanmugamchose the state of Karnataka and its people, making it his “karma bhoomi.” His journey of service began in 1992 with the establishment of the RajaRajeswari Dental College Hospital, followed by the founding of the RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital. His vision was to bring affordable medical services to the poor and underserved communities

Celebrating Excellence: Dr. Adarsh Receives Prestigious FIAP Award

Congratulations to Dr. Adarsh for receiving the prestigious FIAP (Fellowship in IAP) award. It’s truly an outstanding achievement to be recognized among 50,000 pediatricians nationwide. The award speaks volumes about Dr. Adarsh’s dedication to excellence in patient care, management, and service to the Indian Academy of Pediatrics. It’s also great to hear about the paper presentation at the 62nd National PEDICON 2025 in Hyderabad, which must have been an excellent platform to share knowledge and innovations in the field. Dr. Adarsh’s contributions to pediatric care are clearly making a significant impact.

RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital celebrated this harvest festival with such a great significance and insistence at the College Lobby.
All the student and staff gave great performances with a bright attire and expression. Traditional puja was also performed and Prasad was distributed to all present in the celebration.

Title: CME on Cancer – A Journey of Awareness and Learning

The Department of Biochemistry at RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital has always been at the forefront of fostering academic and extracurricular excellence. In alignment with this tradition, the department organized a series of competitions for the first-year MBBS students of the 2024–25 batch on 9th January 2025. The theme, Cancer – A Convoy of Tumor Markers, Pains, and Cures, was chosen to inspire creativity and awareness about one of the most pressing global health challenges.
The competitions included model making, T-shirt painting, poetry writing, and short video (reels) making. It was heartwarming to witness the enthusiasm and talent of all the 250 students
