Prevention of Blindness Week 2026

Prevention of Blindness Week 2026 is observed from April 1st to April 7th, 2026, primarily in India, to raise awareness about eye health and preventable blindness. Organized by the National Society for the Prevention of Blindness-India (NSPB-I), the campaign focuses on free eye screenings, educational campaigns on eye safety, and reducing the incidence of blindness caused by conditions like cataracts, malnutrition, and diabetes.
