Recent Advances in Radiation Oncology

A CME event on ‘recent advanced in radio therapy’ was presented by Dr. Naveen (Associate Professor), Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, on 27th December 2012, Thursday at RajaRajeswari Medical College auditorium at 2 PM. The program discussed the scope and advantages of radio therapy in treating various types of cancer. The programs also saw deep discussions about advanced radiotherapy practices such as intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and three dimensional conformal radio therapy (3D-CRT).
