Report on Hypertension Health Awareness Campaign – 2023

An awareness campaign was organized by Department of Community Medicine, Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital to educate people on prevention of Hypertension. Campaign was conducted on 20th June 2023 in Rural Health Training Centre Chunchunakuppe. The campaign was coordinated by Dr. Vidusha, Mr. Venkatesh, Mrs. Kamala, Mrs. Swetha and also Final year Students from Physiotherapy College. Posters were prepared by students to educate people. House to house survey on Diabetes and Hypertension was done along with health education by Final year Physiotherapy students. Health education was given on aspects of risk factors of Diabetes and Hypertension, prevention, dietary measures for control of these non-communicable diseases.
