Training CME on ICMR National Ethical Guidelines 2017
Institutional Ethics committee, RRMCH conducted a training CME.
The Program started with welcome note by Dr. Sukanya Hegde, Director of NIMS, Chairperson of RRMCH-IEC.
The speakers for the program were
– Dr. R. Prema,Prof, Dept of Pediatrics and Member secretary of RRMCH-IEC. She gave introduction for ICMR National Ethical Guidelines 2017.
– Dr. Veena, Associate Prof., Dept of Pharmacology and Member of RRMCH-IEC. She gave brief information about Ethical Review Procedure for regulatory trails.
– Dr. Aanuradha, Prof & HOD, Dept of Pharmacology, MS Ramaiah Medical College. She spoke on Functioning of Ethics Committee SOP, Ethical Review Procedure & Record keeping.
– Dr. Rajiv S.R. enlightened about IEC Guidelines for vulnerable population & informed consent .
The speech was concluded by Dr. Satyanarayana V. The training CME helped in progressive information to the participants. The appellate authority of RRMCh-IEC also attended and praised the proceedings of the meeting. The training CME concluded at 5:00 pm with thanks going to our beloved Chairman, Dr.A.C.Shanmugam, Dr Vijayanand S. – Executive Director, Dr. Sathyamurthy – Dean, Dr. Naveen – Principal, Dr. Praveen – Medical Superintendent and members of IEC.
