White Coat Ceremony 2025

A Proud Beginning to the Journey in Medicine

The White Coat Ceremony 2025 for the newly inducted MBBS students of RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital (RRMCH), Bengaluru was held on 12th November 2025 at the Kadamba Auditorium. Organized by the Department of Biochemistry, the ceremony marked a significant milestone as students donned their white coats — a timeless symbol of professionalism, compassion, and commitment to the field of medicine.

The event was gracefully hosted by Dr. Prathibha K. Proceedings began with a serene invocation song by Mrs. K.V. Shwetha followed by the traditional lamp lighting. Dr. Bindu C.M, Head of the Biochemistry Department, delivered the welcome address, setting an inspiring tone for the ceremony.

The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries including:

Parents and guardians joined virtually, witnessing this proud moment alongside the students.

Dr. Priyadarshini K introduced the Chief Guest, Dr. Shekar Patil, renowned Medical Oncologist from HCG Cancer Centre, Bengaluru. His inspiring address emphasized compassion, humility, and professional integrity, leaving a lasting impact on the budding medical professionals.

An insightful overview of the MBBS Foundation Course was presented, highlighting the values, discipline, and skills instilled during the program. This was followed by prize distribution for the winners of the e-Poster and Debate Competitions, celebrating their academic and creative achievements.

Faculty members from various departments of RRMCH took pride in draping the white coats for the students. The ceremony continued with the solemn recitation of the Charaka Shapath, led by Dr. Basavaraj Bandare, signifying the students’ pledge to uphold ethics and service in their medical journey.

Dr. Reena R delivered a warm and appreciative Vote of Thanks.

The ceremony concluded on a memorable note as the Honourable Chairman, Dr. A.C. Shanmugam, graced the photo session and personally interacted with the students, making the day even more special and inspiring.
