World Diabetes Day at K. R. Halli, RHTC
A health education program to observe World Diabetes Day was conducted in K. R. Halli, RHTC on 30th November 2024. The topic for health education was this year’s theme i.e. “Breaking Barriers, Bridging Gaps”. Beneficiaries included elderly residing in K. R. Halli. The program was conducted by Department of Community Medicine, RRMCH in association with Rotary Cantonment Organization. The event was organized under the guidance of Dr.Shashikala Manjunatha, HOD, and Department of Community Medicine by Dr.Aishwarya S. (Assosiate Professor cum I/C, RHTC, Dept. of Community Medicine) and staff of RHTC.
The Program started at 11:00 am.Health education on Diabetes was explainedwith the skit and posters by Interns. Post Graduate students actively participated though out the program and the Health Education session concluded successfully by 12:30 pm. A total of 30 beneficiaries participated. Refreshments were arranged by Rotary Cantonment Organization. Transport was arranged by RajaRajeswari Medical College and Hospital.
