World Hand hygiene day 2025

On the occasion of World Hand hygiene day 2025 & International Nurses Day- 2025, the department of Microbiology had organized program in Kadamba hall on 17/05/2025 from 10:30-01:00pm.The theme of this year is:“ It might be gloved It’s always hard hygiene”.

The Programme was done as follows:
10.30- 11.00am Start with Tea and Introduction
11.00- 11.30 am Hand Hygiene Surgeons Perspective
11.30- 12.00 pm Important of Hand Hygiene by Raman & weil
12.00- 1.00 pm Activity on Hand Hygiene & International Nurses Day

Introduction and Importance of World Hand hygiene day 2025 by Dr. Lakshminarayana S A Hand Hygiene Surgeons Perspective talk given by Dr. Dinesh Rajendran Associate Professor, Dept. of ENT.Hand Hygiene activity by Raman & weil – Quiz, posters, one word answer competition conducted by Mr. Channabasappa & team. Winners awarded prize and certificate.The programme was ended by vote of thanks by Dr. Aarti P Katare, Assistant professor , Microbiology.
The programme was attended by honorable guests: MS, Dean, principle (Academics), NABH incharge, NABH co-ordinator, Nursing staff, Nursing superintendent , Students(Medical ).
The event was a grand success.
