Awareness Through Creative Engagement
As part of the observance, postgraduate students of the Department presented a thematic skit in the presence of patients, members of the public, staff, and students. The performance effectively highlighted:
• Causes and early signs of leprosy

• Common myths and social misconceptions
The skit served as a powerful tool in spreading awareness and encouraging early medical consultation.

Addressing Social Stigma
A motivational and informative talk was delivered by Dr. Shanmukha M.N., focusing on eliminating the social stigma and discrimination faced by individuals affected by leprosy. The session emphasized compassion, awareness, and the role of society in supporting patients.

Academic Engagement – Leprosy Quiz

Participants actively engaged in the event, and winners were felicitated with prizes and certificates by the Dean, Principal, and Medical Superintendent.
