World Prematurity Day 2021
We the department of pediatrics, RRMCH, have been celebrating premature day every year. This year we have celebrated premature day on 24/11/2021 at pediatric opd. The celebrations were graced by our Executive Director, Dean, Principal, Medical Superintendent and our beloved HOD Dr. Adarsh E, OBG department and our Pediatric department staff. Around 30 premature children who are our NICU graduates and their parents gathered for the premature day celebrations. The celebration was started with welcoming the children and dignitaries and with an enlightening talk by our HOD Dr. Adarsh E.
Talk about premature deliveries was given by OBG staff and parents of premature children’s shared their experience about their baby stay in NICU and how well the child is doing now.
A talk on KMC and importance of breast feeding was given by breast feeding counscellor, Children and parents were provided with snacks.
Pediatric department staff and Post graduates also took part actively in the event. Program was concluded by vote of thanks.
