World Voice Day 2025

In celebration of World Voice Day, the Department of ENT & Head and Neck Surgery at RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital (RRMCH) organized a special guest lecture session featuring two renowned experts in the field of laryngology.

Dr. Sanjay Subbaiah delivered an insightful talk titled “Neurolaryngology: Past, Present, and Future”, where he traced the evolution of neurogenic voice and swallowing disorder management. His presentation offered a comprehensive overview—from historical developments to current clinical practices and emerging innovations—providing attendees with a deeper understanding of this specialized domain.

Following this, Dr. Manjunath M.K. presented a detailed lecture on “Thyroplasty and Injection Laryngoplasty”, focusing on surgical techniques for voice restoration. He shared his expertise on patient selection, procedural nuances, and outcome expectations, offering practical guidance drawn from his extensive surgical experience.

The session was well-attended by faculty members, postgraduate students, and practicing clinicians. It was highly appreciated for its academic depth and clinical relevance, significantly enhancing participants’ knowledge of voice disorders and their management.
