CME & Workshop on Laserzone South 2026

A Day of learning, innovation, and excellence!
The Department of Dermatology, Rajarajeswari Medical College & Hospital, Bengaluru, successfully conducted LASERZONE SOUTH 2026 – CME & Workshop, programme on Lasers and Energy-Based Devices on 7 June 2026.

The programme was organized under the guidance of Dr. Priya K.S., Professor and Head of the Department of Dermatology, along with the faculty members and postgraduate students of the department.

The CME witnessed an enthusiastic participation of over more than 200 delegates, including dermatologists, faculty members, and postgraduate trainees from various institutions.

The event commenced with registration. The program began with prayer and lightening the lamp and a warm welcome speech by Head of the department and concluded with felicitation of the speaker by Dean Dr.Sathyamurthy and Medical Superintendent Dr.Praveen ,followed by vote of thanks by Dr.Nikhil, Senior resident.

The scientific sessions featured expert lectures and live demonstrations by renowned faculty Dr. Avitus John Raakesh Prasad.

  • Interactive discussions on the latest advances in dermatologic laser treatments

The CME was highly informative and successful in enhancing the knowledge and procedural skills of postgraduate students, faculty members, and practitioners.

The collaborative efforts of faculty, PG students ensured the grand success of the program, reflecting the department’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous professional development.

Participants provided positive feedback, appreciating the excellent organization of the workshop, the expertise of the speaker and the excellent infrastructure of the college.

Together, we continue to advance the science and practice of dermatology through education, innovation, and skill development.
