DRISHTI 2019 – Eye Donation Awareness Fortnight Program

MD (Faculty from Lion’s International Eye Hospital) Date: 06/09/2019 Time: 11:30 AM to 03:30 PM Venue: Kadamba Auditorium ALL ARE CORDIALLY INVITED About the Programme: The Department of ophthalmology observed “DRISHTI 2019”, 34th National Eye Donation Fortnight on 6th September 2019 Various competitions were held in singing, face painting, sketching, painting, slogan writing, poetry based on “Eye Donation” theme. Street Play, that happened in the RRMCH regarding eye donation, caught the attention of all the patients & there relatives & helped us to motivate them. Cultural events like contemporary dance, Poetry reading, and singing took place all based on the theme of eye donation. Our honorable chief guest, Dr Roopashree Matada, Consultant Cornea & refractive surgeries and Eye bank director Prabha eye clinic & Research center addressed our awareness programme. We the department of ophthalmology appreciates the efforts of all the UGs, Interns & PGs for their fantabulous performances and enthusiasm in participating in all the events.
