Eye Donation Fortnight Program

The department of Ophthalmology is conducting “Eye Donation Fortnight Program”. Title: DHRISTI – 2018 Date: 29th Aug 2018, Wednesday Time: 10:00 am onwards Venue : Kadamba Hall (College Auditorium) Speaker: Dr.Rekha Gyanchand, (Eye Bank Director, Lion Eye Hospital) ALL ARE CORDIALLY INVITED

About the Programme:

The Department of ophthalmology observed “DRISHTI 2018”, 33rd National Eye Donation Fortnight on 29th August 2018 Various competitions were held in singing, face painting, sketching, painting, slogan writing, poetry based on “Eye Donation” theme. FLASH MOB, that happened in the RRMCH regarding eye donation, caught the attention of all the patients & there relatives & helped us to motivate them. Cultural events like contemporary dance, skit, and singing took place. Our honorable chief guest, Dr Rekha Gyanchand , Eye bank director from B.W.L.E.H addressed our awareness programme. We the department of ophthalmology appreciate the efforts of all the UGs, Interns & PGs for their fantabulous performances and enthusiasm in participating in all the events. The Success of “DRISHTI 2018” has given us the enthusiasm to conduct many more events like these in the future!!!
