HIV Sensitization Program

Department of Microbiology (ICTC) has organised “HIV Sensitization Program”
A HIV sensitization and awareness programme was conducted by Department of Microbiology, Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital, incharge of ICTC in association with KSAPS & DAPCU. The programme was on 26/3/2019 at kadamba auditorium between 12 noon to 1.30 pm for nursing staff and interns. Welcomed speech by Dr. Sangeetha S, Professor& HOD, Department of Microbiology. Dr. Nirmala, senior medical officer, ART centre, Bouring Hospital, Mrs. Yashoda, District Supervisor, DAPCU, who were the guest speaker on the occasion. Important topics on HIV, mother to child transmission, prevention, Goals to be reached by 2030, Modifications in the NACO guidelines were discussed which were educative and informative.
