The institution celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and participation from the Dean, Principal, Medical Superintendent, faculty members, staff, and students. The event highlighted the significance of Yoga as India’s timeless gift to the world and its role in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
The programme commenced with a ceremonial plant sapling presentation, symbolizing growth, life, and sustainability. The gathering then warmly welcomed the esteemed yoga instructor, Mrs. Uma, who conducted an engaging and informative yoga session. Through her expert guidance, participants learned various yoga practices aimed at improving flexibility, concentration, stress management, and overall health.
The event served as a reminder that health extends beyond the absence of disease and encompasses complete physical, mental, and social well-being. Participants actively took part in the session and experienced the benefits of mindful movement and breathing exercises.
The celebration concluded with a message encouraging everyone to incorporate yoga into their daily routines and embrace a healthier, more balanced lifestyle. The institution expresses its sincere gratitude to Mrs. Uma for her valuable contribution and to all participants for making the event a grand success.
