National Anti-Ragging Day 2026

RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital (RRMCH) observed the National Anti-Ragging Day on 1st September 2026 at the Kadamba Auditorium, under the hashtag , “#YaARI Youth Against Ragging”.

The programme was graced by the esteemed presence of the CEO, Mr. Seetharam,IAS officer Dean Dr Satyamurthy , Principal, Dr Basavaraj Bhandare and Medical Superintendent Dr Praveen Kumar, of RRMCH, whose support and encouragement added significance to the occasion.
The event was hosted by the Dr Surekha Nagaraj , PG, Dept of Community Medicine with active participation from faculty members, UGs, Interns and PGs.

Dr. Sangeetha, Professor ,Department of Microbiology, Chairperson of Anti Ragging Committee, highlighted the new guidelines formulated for Anti Ragging.
Dr. Sumanth T P, Professor, Department of Psychiatry, delivered an insightful session on Ragging and its impact on Mental health .The programme was featured with prize distribution for the winners of Anti Ragging awareness competitions.

The programme was concluded by Vote of Thanks given by Dr Vidya GS , Professor, Department of Community Medicine.
