Preparation and submission of a Research Projects for approval by external funding agencies
Fifty four delegates attended the program. Dr. Pradeep Banandur, Assoc. Prof, Dept of Epidemiology, Center for public Health, NIMHANS talk was very informative giving details of various national and international funding agencies for research, the formats and tips for applying successfully. The session was very interactive and the audience was enthralled by the content and humor of the talk.
The afternoon session was equally well attended. Dr. Rajagopalan, Prof & HOD, Orthopedics spoke in great detail with a lot of wit and elegance about how one should go about conducting a scientific project and then how and why one should publish. He used BMJ as a template for journals and illustrated the steps leading to a successful publication.
