The season of Christmas that begins from Thanksgiving brings festivity and joy to everyone’s lives. Thanksgiving is the day when people thank the almighty for blessing them with harvest and also show gratitude towards all the good things and people around. On Christmas, people wish each other Merry Christmas and pray that the day takes away all the negativity and darkness from people’s life. Christmas is a festival full of culture and tradition. The festival entails a lot of preparations. Preparations for Christmas involve a lot of things including buying decorations, food items, and gifts for family members and friends. People usually wear white or red colored outfits on the day of Christmas. The celebration begins with decorating a Christmas tree. Christmas tree decoration and lighting are the most important part of Christmas. The Christmas tree is an artificial or real pine tree that people adorn with lights, artificial stars, toys, bells, flowers, gifts, etc. People also hide gifts for their loved ones. Traditionally, gifts are hidden in socks under the tree. It is an old belief that a saint named Santa Claus comes on the night of Christmas eve and hides presents for well-behaved kids. This imaginary figure brings a smile to everyone’s face.

Christmas Celebration at RRMCH was organized on 22nd December 2023. All Students and staff had come with striking attire. The college lobby was decorated beautifully with glitters and lights. A crib was also made beautifully arranged with the Christmas tree. One could easily notice the excitement of Christmas in everybody’s eyes. Everyone was eagerly waiting for the Christmas gala to start on. All the students with their friends enjoyed the occasion. There were a variety of performances by the students and many playoffs were also conducted among the students which they enjoyed the most. A staff dressed as Santa Claus paraded through the lobby cheering and singing songs of Christmas, handing out small gifts and handshakes. By the end of the program, the cakes were distributed to all the student and staff. It was a piece of cake with sweets wishing “Happy Christmas”. On the whole the celebration went on with great significance and gratification.
Good Governance Day is observed in India annually on the twenty-fifth day of December, the birth anniversary of former-Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Good Governance Day was established in 2014 to honor Prime Minister Vajpayee by fostering awareness among the Indian people of accountability in government.
The Department of Consumer Affairs is celebrating World Consumer Rights Day on March 15, 2023. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Empowering consumers through clean energy transitions”.
National Farmer’s Day or Kisan Diwas 2022: It is celebrated annually on 23 December to mark the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. He was the fifth Prime Minister of India and is remembered for the contributions made by him toward the upliftment of farmers across the country.

On 25/11/2023, the department of ENT – HNS, organized the weekly clinical update in Kadamba Hall, which was attended by Medical Superintendent Dr. Praveen, Dean Dr. Krishnamurthy, as well as principle, Dr. Naveen, along with Staffs as well as post graduate students from all departments.
The clinical update was on the theme, What The Naked Eyes Cannot See, The Light Shows, explaining new technology which has revolutionized the detection of oral carcinomas, narrow band imaging, as well as Stroboscope as the new modalities to detect cancers, even in the beginning stages by Dr. Asma, and Dr. Najla respectively
The program was started by a keynote delivered by. Dr. T. M. Nagaraj, head of department of ENT HNS, introducing and talking about the incidence of oral carcinoma, and how it has become a menace, and the advent of newer, non-invasive technologies to determine the lesion.
