Workshop for Good Clinical Practice Training
Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital – Institutional Ethics Committee (RRMCH-IEC), conducted an Indian GCP – “Good Clinical Practice training” workshop for all IEC members and Post Graduates on 10th March 2026 at Kadamba Hall, College Building.
The program started with welcome speech by Dr. Sukanya Hegde, Chairperson of Institutional Ethics Committee. Dr. R. Prema, Member Secretary, RRMCH-IEC delivered a talk regarding “Overview of the Programme and General Framework of Submission, Reviewal and Approval Process of the Clinical Research Project”. The talk on “Ethical conduct in Clinical Research” was given by Dr. Savitha D, Member Secretary of Institutional Ethics Committee, St. Johns Medical College, Bangalore. The talk on “Roles and Responsibilities of key stakeholders” was given by Dr. Veena R.M., Member of Institutional Ethics Committee. The talk on “Ethics meets Law: Legal Awareness in Clinical Research” was given by Mrs. Martha Jayashree, Legal Advisor, St. Johns National Academy, Bangalore. Vote of thanks by Dr. Sowmya M J, Member of Institutional Ethics Committee. The workshop was arranged for all Ethical Committee members, Teaching staff and Post Graduates of Rajarajeswari Medical College and Hospital involved in research.
