Department of Nephrology and Department of General Medicine observed “World Kidney Day 2023” on 9th March, 2023 at Kadamba Hall from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The theme of the program was ‘Preparing for the unexpected, supporting the vulnerable’.

The guest for this program was Dr. Chakko K Jacob, Consultant Nephrologist affiliated with Annaswamy Mudaliar General Hospital in Pulikeshi Nagar, MBBS, MD General Medicine, and DM Nephrology from CMC Vellore affiliated with Madras University.

The guest clearly addressed to the participants about the care and wellness of the Kidney in our day to day life, explained about do’s and don’ts as well. More than 100 participant including Postgraduates and Interns attended the program. The program conclude with a vote of thanks by Dr M Prasad, Asst Prof of Nephrology.
