As part of the ongoing efforts to promote a healthy environment, the Department of Respiratory Medicine, RRMCH join hands with the Department of Community Medicine, RRMCH to raise awareness about the dangers of tobacco.
We have initiated a campaign to place signboards in strategic locations. These signboards aim to educate the students and public about the risks associated with tobacco consumption and declare our premises a tobacco-free zone.
The signboards feature clear and concise messages about the dangers of tobacco consumption and the tobacco-free zone policy. They have been placed at prominent locations, including entrances, corridors, and high-traffic areas within medical college, UG and PG men’s and women’s hostel, staff quarters, and hospital. It is expected to reduce tobacco use among visitors and staff and promote a healthy environment for everyone.
