World Prematurity Day 2022

The department of paediatrics, RajaRajeswari Medical College & Hospital celebrated ‘World Prematurity day’ to raise awareness about prematurity burden, their health issues and the ways to take care of preterm babies. Programme started with watering the tender plants, symbolizing nurturing growth. The event was presided by Dr. Praveen Medical Superintendent, Dr. Adarsh E, HOD & Professor, Paediatric department. And all the staff, Post graduates, interns and undergraduate students of paediatric department participated in the awareness program. All preterm babies who are taken care at NICU, RRMCH and their parents enthusiastically participated in the programme. Preterm health issues, benefits of KMC and breast feeding were highlighted in the programme.
