Integrated Bioethics of Health sciences – 3T – IBHSc
3T – IBHSc ( Integrated Bioethics of Health sciences), Indian program of the International chair in Bioethics program was conducted on 28th November 2022 to 30th November 2022 at Kadamba Hall,Rajarajeswari medical college & Hospital, Bengaluru.
Master of ceremony was Dr.Priyanka singh. The program was started by invoking the blessings of almighty by a invocation song, sung by 1st year MBBS student Ms.Shreya. All the speakers and dignitaries were welcomed followed by lighting of lamp by the dignitaries.
Following which our Dean Dr. Sathyamurthy delivered the Inagural address.
Dr.S.Geethalakshmi, Vice Chancellor, Dr.MGR educational and research institute, Chennai; addressed the gathering. Following which Dr.Russell D Souza, Director, Dept of education gave an introduction regarding the 3days program. Writs of appointment were presented to the Dean, Vice principal and 4 faculties of the college.
rogram started with an Introductory talk on the principles of Bioethics and medical ethics by Dr.Mary Mathew. Program continued with talks from all the speakers Dr.Derek DSouza, Dr.Praveen Arora, Dr.Vivek Mady, Dr.Princy palatty, Dr. Navin R with active participation by the 45 registered participants. It consisted of role plays, street plays, team building activities etc..
Participants were asked to give feedback about the training session at the end of every day.
Felicitation was done for all the resource persons/ faculties on the last day of the program.
Certificates were awarded to all the participants on successful completion of the 3T – IBHSc ( Integrated Bioethics of Health sciences) program.
The program was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Vivek, Deputy medical superintendent,RRMCH.
